Overview
Owners Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump opened The Greyhound in December 2019, located in a Grade II-listed 17th-century coaching inn in Beaconsfield Old Town, Buckinghamshire. The team carefully preserved many of the building's original features during its renovation, blending historic charm with modern British cuisine.
Daniel and Margriet bring a wealth of experience from some of the UK's most prestigious restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Petrus, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, and Trinity. The Greyhound is their first solo venture.
The Greyhound offers a refined dining experience, featuring a six-course tasting menu with vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options, alongside à la carte and set lunch menus. The set lunch menu evolves with the seasons, though some guest favourites remain by popular demand. Head Chef George Sweeney focuses on seasonal ingredients, ensuring the integrity and freshness of each dish.
