Meraki

Borne out of a love for Mykonos, Peter Waney founder of Zuma Group with his brother Arjun, wanted to combine the cool Mediterranean atmosphere with the freshness of Greek cuisine together into a new London dining establishment.

With an open kitchen led by celebrity chef Athinagoras Kostakos, just minutes away from the bustle of Oxford Circus, Meraki was launched as a destination restaurant for an international crowd. Delicious and award-winning food, carefully selected wines, and an unpretentious natural interior design where diners can chat, eat and enjoy food in a relaxed environment, Meraki Restaurant instantly became a hit.

Following the restaurant launch, Meraki Bar and hidden Living Room Bar was launched downstairs by partners Alain Dona, Adam Bel Hadj and Laurent Manuel so friends of the brand could enjoy after work drinks and perhaps rub shoulders with A-list celebrities downstairs whilst sipping on cocktails in the bespoke caves.
