Chez Roux at The Langham

Chez Roux offers a rare chance to savour Michel Roux’s culinary expertise in London, featuring menus that celebrate historical British classics while embracing traditional French cooking techniques. Each dish is crafted with a contemporary and sophisticated touch.

To start, guests can indulge in Roux’s rendition of Welsh Rarebit, made rich with stout and Montgomery cheddar, and enhanced by the sharpness of mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and pickled walnut. The main courses include Lamb Chops Reform, a modern take on Alexis Soyer’s 1830s classic, featuring herb-crusted lamb, faggot, and Reform sauce. Additionally, an off-menu daily special showcases Grilled Lobster with garlic butter, fries, and béarnaise, a personal favourite of Chef Michel, reminiscent of his childhood meals at Le Gavroche. To finish, desserts such as Chocolate Mousse and Summer Fruit Pudding offer a delightful sweet finale.
