The Old Bell Hotel
The Weeping Willow
Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Overview
The Weeping Willow is a fabulous 16th century pub, lovingly restored and expanded in 2017 to create a very modern country pub and kitchen. Expect to be surprised by the juxtaposition. There are multiple dining options here, with a restaurant, chef's table, private dining room, snug and the terrace. With menus serving delights such as Goat's Cheese Panna Cotta to Torched Fillet of Mackerel to start, and Maple Cured Blythburgh Pork Ribeye Steak to Baby Aubergine & Chickpea Tagine. Of course, based in the heart of Suffolk, The Weeping Willow has a wealth of local breweries, and this is a great place to experience the specially selected ales, beers, ciders and fruit cordials in a relaxed family friendly environment. With the Bar designed to have ale at one end and Champagne at the other, there's something for everyone.
