Cannizaro House
The Black Boy
Fox & Grapes
Wimbledon Common, London
Overview
This is a modern Gastropub to the highest level. In what feels like a remote location on the edge of Wimbledon Common this is an ultra quaint village hall style building converted to a large contemporary space. The restaurant is the brainchild of two Michelin star Chef Claude Bosi of Hibiscus and governed on a day to day basis by his brother Cedric and Julian Ward, formerly of Spice Market.
Supporting small local farmers and producers it serves great modern British cuisine that is regularly receiving top nominations amongst Gastro Awards. Three cute bedrooms too if you want to make a night of it.
