The French Table
Surbiton, Surrey
Overview
In 2001, Sarah and Eric Guignard opened The French Table with a simple ambition: to create a restaurant where exceptional food, thoughtful wine and warm hospitality sat at the heart of the experience.
Today that philosophy remains unchanged. What began as a local independent restaurant has become one of Surrey's most respected dining destinations, earning national recognition while retaining the character and welcome of a true neighbourhood favourite.
The French Table serves contemporary French cuisine that combines classical foundations with modern flair. Menus change with the seasons and showcase carefully sourced ingredients, while a knowledgeable front-of-house team ensures service is polished yet relaxed.
Located on Surbiton's charming Maple Road, The French Table continues to attract both loyal local diners and visitors from further afield. Whether for a leisurely lunch, a celebratory dinner or one of its popular wine events, it remains a restaurant worth returning to — a testament to Sarah and Eric's enduring passion for hospitality.
