The Italian Greyhound

Sitting on the site of the former Bernardi’s, The Italian Greyhound is the newest venture by restaurateur brothers Gabriel and Marcello Bernardi. Their menus celebrate casual Italian dining and drinking, paying homage to neighbourhood bars or ‘bacaros’ of Italy. Head chef Yohei Furuhashi, whose former restaurants include Dinings SW3, Petersham Nurseries, and the River Café, is at the helm in the kitchen where he creates dishes using the best of British and Italian seasonal produce.

Inside the restaurant, the ground floor is split between a bar and restaurant, with light-oak furnishings and blue-grey walls are adorned by modern artwork. An abundance of greenery adds to the relaxed, casual ambience of the restaurant.

Walk-ins are welcome all day, and diners can enjoy an all-day bar menu with pizza and smaller dishes of Sicilian chickpea chips, sage, lemon or Wild mushroom & Taleggio arancini. The Dining Room menu includes mouth-watering pasta dishes such as Pappardelle, venison ragu or Crab linguine, fennel, chilli & lemon or a heartier Veal Milanese, lemon or succulent Native breed rib eye. However if after a busy you'd rather dine at home then takeaway pizzas can be ordered from the website and collected. Club Members can still enjoy their complimentary Bellini in the comfort of the restaurant while they wait.

Sunday will also take on an exciting new concept as they launch their Sunday Feasts, an Italian take on the Great British Sunday Roast.
