Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens - The Oak Room Restaurant
Bohemia Restaurant
St Helier, Jersey
Overview
Bohemia's pristine, dark granite frontage with grand double doors and four huge floor-to-ceiling windows exude contemporary style. Inside, grid-panelling features largely throughout and complements the leather wall-tiles to the rear of the restaurant. Dove-grey banquet seating forms a graceful profile along the back wall, while dark walnut panelled walls continue the beautifully refined design.
Bohemia's private dining area has been completely transformed and now oozes lavish style. One wall has been clad in statement blue matt wallpaper, featuring an intricate gold design. A wall of panelled frosted glass to the front of the restaurant allows natural light to flood into the restaurant, whilst maintaining its discreet ambience. The crowning feature of the private dining room is a statement chandelier made from 200 champagne glasses. Each glass is individually illuminated with glowing effervescent 'champagne' to give the illusion that it has just been poured.
Bohemia Chef Callum Graham has one goal, to delight his guests and endeavours to offer a variety of local, fresh produce in all of his dishes and celebrates seasonal fruits and vegetables. The majority of ingredients such as the famous Jersey Royal Potato and fresh Scallops are locally sourced from the island of Jersey, while other ingredients are gathered from France, a mere 16 miles away. The fresh Oysters come from local fishermen and from Normandy, the capital of Oyster farming.
