From acclaimed French chef Cyril Lignac, Bar des Prés Mayfair presents a distinctive Franco–East Asian dining style in one of London’s most prestigious districts. The cooking is guided by seasonality and precise technique, bringing together French foundations with East Asian influence in a style that is elegant, balanced and contemporary.

The wine list showcases leading French regions, selected to complement the kitchen’s approach. Cocktails blend Parisian inspiration with London character, from the Belle Époque — gin, St-Germain, cucumber, lemon and Champagne — to signatures such as the Mayfair Sour, combining Yamazaki whisky, lemon, ginger, coconut batida and tonka bean, each served in bespoke glassware created exclusively for the restaurant.

Behind its striking deep-blue façade, the restaurant spans two floors with a marble-accented dining room and counter seating overlooking the action. Below, an atmospheric subterranean lounge designed by Dion et Arles draws on the spirit of Saint-Germain’s classic bar à vins, with bold geometric carpeting and intimate seating — a natural setting for pre-dinner drinks, late suppers and nightcaps.
