We are delighted to announce a new partnership with humanitarian charity Action Against Hunger, a charity close to our hearts, having worked with them previously.

From February onwards, 25p per cover will be donated to Action Against Hunger for all online bookings through the Luxury Restaurant Guide. Recognised as a leader in the fight against malnutrition, Action Against Hunger work to save the lives of malnourished children, while providing communities with sustainable access to safe water and good nutrition.

With over 30 years of expertise in emergency situations of conflict, natural disaster and chronic food insecurity, Action Against Hunger helped over 13.6 million people in 47 countries in 2014. In 2015, they were wherever the headlines were, including helping in Nepal and the Syrian Refugee crisis.

After the 7.9 magnitude earthquake in Nepal in May, they were on the ground helping to salvage food supplies, as well as providing shelter kits and cash grants to the thousands of affected families. Action Against Hunger continue to work in the country, providing physical and mental support to a country looking for a brighter future in 2016.

The Syrian refugee crisis was at the forefront of our attention last year, and we are glad to be supporting an organisation that has provided help to those affected both in Syria, and in the surrounding countries. Action Against Hunger helped a massive 3.5 million people in the region last year, including providing food security, and water, sanitation and hygiene support.

We’re hoping that our thousands of online users will help us raise lots of money throughout the year, as we continue to help more and more people with bespoke searching for high quality restaurant experiences. Just a table of four booked through the Luxury Restaurant Guide will help provide a one day supply of micronutrient-dense therapeutic ready-to-use-food, used to nurse acutely malnourished kids back to health.
