My Favourite Restaurants by Steve Hewitt

We’ve got some more celebrity favourite restaurants for you! This time its Rock n Roll fine dining club member Steve Hewitt. Steve, fomerly of acclaimed multi-million album selling alternative English rock band, Placebo, now has his own band.  Love Amongst Ruin regularly tours in Europe with an album released in 2011 at Sanctum Soho which we were lucky enough to be invited to! Steve has a new album due out later this year which we are hoping to be invited to again –  will be it in a venue on this list?

My Favourite Restaurants:

1. Bingham Hotel, Richmond

What can I say? Love Shay Cooper – the best chicken soup ever.

2. Walmer Castle, Notting Hill

Walmer in name and warmer in atmosphere and food.

3. Julies, Bayswater

This is the place to take your lady. Romance personified – and try to get a booth!

4. Maggie Jones, Kensington

The best Sunday lunch – you have to see this place to believe it. The decor is totally nuts.

5. Oxo Tower, South Bank

Its all about the view (and the food isn’t bad either).

6. Sanctum Soho, Soho

We had the Love Amongst Ruin Album launch party here on the roof terrace – cheers Mark!

7. The Belvedere, Holland Park

Twenties glamour in the park. Sensational setting and sensational food, especially the Fois Gras.

8. Hawksmoor, Spitalfields

I’ve only had better steak than this in Argentina – the creamed spinach is a must.

9.The Angel, Highgate

Graham Chapman had many drunken nights in this, his local haunt and the grub isn’t bad either.

10. Panasia, Bath

The Best Thai food in the south of England – honey glazed spare ribs to start then the Massaman beef.
